Maybe the programmers looked at the features of TMG to see if any would be good 
to include if possible.  I don't like FTM or RM at all.  Too  cluttered and I 
cannot figure out how to do reports as I'd like in those programs.  I do like 
the function of Legacy and sometimes have a hard time thinking of any possible 
improvements, but I know there are some that would continue to make it the 
dream software compared to the rest.
