This is a pet peeve of mine - evidently for no reason. I have avoided merges 
like the plague because of no option to save both notes. I'll look for that 
black box next time. I should have known that Legacy always does more than you 
expect, if you know how. Thank you Brian.

When you have a merge pair displayed with differences look for a black box on 
the extreme left of the line with the differences. Clicking there will give you 
a menu of options on adding the right individual's information to the person on 
the left.
