I've been experiencing some what I regard as strange behavior with the
source clipboard in the last couple of days. I've been entering some
information I found on a family tree on Ancestry. I have saved to the
source clipboard the name of the person who submitted the tree and the name
of the tree itself, rather than just using the generic "Ancestry family
member trees". I also put the web address in the text tab of the source.
So I've been working on this for a couple of days and along the way I've
stopped for a break and shut Legacy down. Each of the last four or five
times I've done this I've discovered when I start again, the source on my
clipboard is not rather garbled. The main tab says "public member tree",
and has only a "1" in the date field. The text/comment tab contains
"tree". The first time it happened I assumed I had accidently hit a key at
some point and caused it to be garbled. It's now done it at least five
times, maybe more.
I correct my source data, save it and replace the source information for
that person and proceed, but the next time I shut down it happens again.

What's going on?
