I have added 1248 records from the 1860 US Federal Census into my database. There are all linked in individual family units just as they appear in the census. I have detail information in the following format that was added to the "General Notes" field for each record: "United States Census", 1860, index, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/MC7R-HRG: accessed 22 Jan 2013), Jane K Gittens, Kings, New York, citing p. 51, family 414, NARA microfilm publication M653," FHL microfilm 803773 I have also created a Census Event for each of the 1248 people, with year and location. What I would like to do is move the information currently in the "General Notes" field, into the notes field in the "Census Event", without having to copy/paste 1248 times. Can this be done? -- Cliff Gittens Gittens One-name Study Surrey, BC, Canada www.gittensfamily.ca Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
