In spite of my security software which is AVG, twice in the last 8 months my PC has been infected by a virus. The cure is to wipe the disc clean, and then reinstall the operating system and restore from back up. This works fine for data but often programs have to be downloaded and re-installed. The cost is about $250 each time, plus many hours on my part.
My web site and my gmail account, for example, are not impacted at all by these viruses. I am wondering if my Legacy Family Tree application and data could also work in the cloud. Has anyone had any experience doing this?
