I don't know if it will integrate with each other. I keep each as a
separate program. I also use the KISS principal and label my documents Birth
001,
Birth 002; Death 001; Military 001; Nat 001 etc. I don't have a wide
variety of categories. Obits, tombstone info, death notices all go under
Death.

Same with births, baptisms, birth announcements, newspaper announcements
that deal with Birth get listed under Births.

The number goes in the Legacy File ID number. I enter the document in
Clooz, give it a category and number, link people to the document and fill in
the detail screen or not. The program does much more than I use it for. I
just want to keep track of the documents I've already got copies of. Then I
know if the info came from an index I know I need the actual document.

Hi, will the Clooz3 integrate with the new legacy8, or should I wait to
see if they need to update before I purchase it? I don't want to have to redo
(again) if I download the free trial and then it doesn't. The paper
trails I have get lost in my legacy (and my house!!) because I never thought
out
ahead of time how to name, subdivide, and keep track of all my paper
files. I use the marriage record numbers now, but it gets cumbersome.

Marie, I would be interested to know more about the CLOOZ number/method
you mentioned.
Can you briefly explain a bit more about it so I can know if it's
something I can use in conjunction with my existing system?

Thanks
