This was a brand new file that I exported from Legacy to Legacy. It contains
only my direct line with no events and no sources. I had just started adding
things back in. I only added in a total of 7 birth certificates and 2 marriage
licenses as I scanned them. I was adding the very first event (1940 census)
and that is when I had the problem. I had back up as soon as I exported but I
hadn’t backed up yet after inputting the above. I usually back up once a day.

Hi Michele,

As this seems to be a Microsoft Jet error I would try to be patient and wait
for Legacy Support on this issue. I only hope that you have been diligent in
backing up your files after each use of the program.

The problem that I mentioned on the list yesterday, the 3021 error, I got no
answers here so I submitted it as a problem to Legacy. I haven’t heard
anything back. I am in a total holding pattern. I don’t want to add any more
information to this file until I can get it fixed. Exporting it to a new
Legacy file didn’t work. If I export it to a GEDCOM then I will lose all of my
SW sources. I have so much stuff to enter and I am just sitting here
twiddling my thumbs.
