Hi, Deanna, I agree with Kathy's comments. I like what you are doing and encourage you to continue doing something you obviously enjoy doing.
While your daughters and cousins show no interest at this time that is not to say that they will never have an interest or that someone down the line may not get the "genealogy bug" and be most grateful for your research. As for the agricultural survey,I view this as a fun and clever way to offer statistical information. This survey lends interest and is along the line of charts, photos and in your case, priceless stories. Good luck!
