I tried the “Unknown” and once I put them as married & the marriage date it
shows with a “M” on the left & a “W” on the right. L

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Same gender marriage???

Here's a thought as a stop gap. Can you mark both genders as unknown and add
the actual gender in notes? Not ideal, but it should solve the problem in the
short run.

My two cents for what they're worth...

I got around the gender selection issue for a same gender relationship by
adding the spouse as an unattached individual to start with, then after
entering name and gender and saving them, I attached him to his spouse.

Hope that helps

I have a same Gender marriage I am trying to enter and I changed “Husband” to
Spouse but Legacy will not let me select “F” for Female. It is greyed out and
the “M” is selected. Is there a way to correctly enter same gender marriages?
If not is that going to be one of the improvements on the 8.0 that will be
coming out?
