What doesn’t make sense is my main file is just fine. It is only if I try and
export or start a new file. Those files are corrupt.

Michelle do you have access to another computer with the same or a newer
operating system on it? If so I would install the latest version of Legacy on
that and restore your database from your backup. If everything works ok on the
second machine, it may suggest that something has actually been corrupted in
either your OS or your legacy.exe file on the first machine. Otherwise, it will
confirm that your database has become corrupted.

Have a great day.

I forgot to mention something. This happens when I start a new file from
scratch too. That is why I would have to use RootsMagic for this project.
This morning I thought I would just bite the bullet and start a new file
instead of importing some people to get me started. That new file wouldn’t
work either. The only thing that is working is my main file. So, I would have
to start from scratch using RootMagic. The only good thing about it is that I
can have my main file on one screen and RM on the other making the data entry a
bit easier.
