Please don't mess with the basics of Family view. It's one of the things I like 
best about Legacy vs. the competitors. It's three generation presentation (in a 
vertical format!), with a separate marriage line, is perfect. If you compare it 
to the nearest competitor visually, Roots Magic puts parents in the upper left, 
grandparents in the upper right, and marriage is just a line under the husband. 
Yes, all the same information is there, but...........


And, the other thing that I like even more than the format is the ability to 
dynamically increase font size to make text really large on a large monitor 
(stretch fonts when resizing option). That's more important to my old eyes than 
cramming more information on a single screen.

Me as well. But I do agree with Brian's comment about the limited availability 
of screen space to display things on. Me, I'd do away with the toolbar in 
favour of 6 lines :-)
