After watching a webinar by Geoff Rassmussen, I went back to the research guidance tab to see if I've overlooked any published histories for a particular area where I have a lot of ancestors. I chose several ancestors over multiple time periods and when I click on Research Guidance, then Preliminary Survey, I never find any suggested sources under the Local Histories tab.
What I'm wondering is, how often is the info that would appear there updated? I know that several histories of this are exist but don't own copies of all the ones I know of (yet). Some were published as recently as last year so perhaps that's the issue. Thanks for any info you can give me.
