I was wrong. Here's what you really do: Using Avery Name Badge #5883 --
Put the ID number (or whatever you want to print ) on the 2nd line of the name tag in the City-county-state slot in the address screen. Put the name of the ancestor in the Country field. Using 18pt type for the NAME, and 14 pt for the address fields, with a 200% line spacing (under OTHER) everything looks great. If you include a 4th line, reduce the line-spacing to 150%. DON'T add a 5th line without reducing the font sizes because with 5 lines at these specs there is _no_ room for more than a millimeter of misalignment per page. No point in a 5th line that prints on the separation. singhals wrote: > Make a copy of your database and work with the COPY, because > you're going to be lying like a rug. > > To get the first of the tags I mentioned -- > > First, assume that every dead is NOT attending. > For the DESCENDANTS, open each person you think may attend, > go into address-line1 copy the descendant-# (which I store > in the Custom ID field), and on address-line2 put the name > of the child from whom this person descends.
