So I may assume that when I go out of town in two weeks, I could install my
Legacy on my sister's computer while I'm there for a week, as no one will be
using my computer here at home?...and then I'll uninstall it when I leave....

That's not quite correct.

The Legacy License (see License.txt in the c:\Legacy folder) states

1. GRANT OF LICENSE. Millennia grants to you the right to use the
enclosed Millennia program (the SOFTWARE).  You may install it on
more than one computer (such as a laptop) as long as there is no
chance of more than one copy being used at the same time.

So you can have Legacy installed on more than one computer - you're
just not supposed to be using more than one at a time.

You do need to make sure all computers have the same build of Legacy installed.

You can use a file sharing site like Dropbox or if you have a home
network, have the Family File on one of the computers and link to it
to work on it from another computer.

Legacy is not designed as a multi-user database. Some people try it
but there could be conflicts with functions, such as one person
tagging and the other person untagging.

Sherry
