You might want to look into "I-gotU", a standalone GPS product that continuously logs your latitude & longitude (I think every 10 seconds is the default). It can work with ANY digital camera. You just need to make sure both have the same time at the start of your trip. I use the model GT-120. It costs $49.95 at Amazon.
