Even if you want to just see the day of the week for one date, put the date in the calculator and add a second date - could even be the same date. The day of the week for both dates show up when you click on "Calculate".
Plus there's no need to scroll in the calendar Just enter the first letter of the month in the month name and change the year by typing...... For the months where are are more than one with the same start (Jan, June, July), just type in the "J", which gives you January and either hit the "J" one or two more times or press the down arrow to go through the months Lot quicker than going to another program or to the web to get the day of the week.
