It sort of depends on the situation. Do you currently have the child linked both the natural father and natural and natural mother? Is the adoptive father a subsequent spouse (legal or otherwise) of the natural mother.
If so, there should be two “marriages” of the mother, one to the natural father and one to the adoptive father. Each is a set of parents. Then, right click on the individual in family or pedigree view, Add parents, select the appropriate couple. You can also set the type of relationship to each here as well. If the situation is something different, let us know and we will see what the solution might be.
