But if that's the case (that a Chromebook runs Android) then you could
use the Families app, which syncs with Legacy.

You can start a new family file in Families, so do not have to start
with a Legacy file if you don't have access to a Windows machine -
though if you have a Legacy file, but no longer have a Windows machine,
you might like to ask a friend with a Windows machine to help with
getting your data into Families in the first place.
