It's different computers interpreting text in different ways.
I have been forgetting lately to purposely set my replies to the LUG to plain 
text  and have seen those funny A's in my replies when the list copy comes 
through.  <sigh>
Have set this reply to plain text, so there shouldn't be any of them here.
Just ignore them as best you can.  They don't mean anything.  :-)

Now you know why one of the rules for this board is that we should all be using 
PLAIN TEXT instead of sending in HTML which is probably the default setting for 
most users. We all forget to change the setting and as a consequence we have to 
learn to read though all those weird characters that may show up. Sort of like 
the weird characters that show up at your high school reunion --- just ignore 
them.
