I tried this and got the same results as you when I used the numbers on the 
number key pad. The shortcuts work if you use the numbers on the upper row of 
your keyboard.

Hmmm ... I couldn't make this work, Wendy.  Alt-2 put a "?"
at the end of each line where I used it.  Alt-3 just blinked at me. Was I just 
holdin' my mouth wrong?
