Jim,

Legacy are not to blame for your inability to manage your own calendar.

1. Go to your Google Calendar.
2. Locate the Legacy calendar in the list of "Other calendars" on the
left-hand side of the window.
3.  Hover over that entry, and you'll see an arrow appear at the
right-hand side of that line - click on that arrow.
4.  Click on "hide this calendar from the list".

This should remove the Legacy calendar and all its entries from your
Google calendar - it's worked on mine just now.

Now to go and work out how to restore that caledar that I've now lost...
