Diane, I had this happen some time ago and ended up unlinking all of the children of the grandparents, creating the new files (which then created with only ancestry of each grandparent) and then adding the children back into the new files.
Or, you might try unlinking the marriage of your parents first and see if that resolves the inclusion of all. But most importantly dont forget to uncheck the "include all" when Tagging the records.
