You can install v8 without affecting v7, so you can download v8 Standard
and take a look at it before you make a decision about upgrading to deluxe.

Do make a copy of your database before opening it in v8 - the file will
be converted to a new format, so once you've done that you won't be able
to (easily) revert.  There is a prompt about this when you first go to
open the file, so all is not lost if you forget to do this first - as
long as you read and choose your option carefully at the time.

This is what I've done while I'm waiting for my Deluxe code to arrive.
Good to have it in front of me to see what others are talking about on
the list, if nothing else.

I like Sherry's suggestion of watching the new videos, and will be doing
that later on today once I've done some "real" work.  Have been catching
up on the 90+ posts on LUG while I have my breakfast, but time now to do
other things before I can come back and have another play with it all.  :-)
