As I understand it from the programmer's explanation during the beta testing, we cannot trap (technical term for capturing for a special purpose) standard key presses and pass those on to implement the ribbon functions.
Making a suggestion is unlikely to change anything since what you will be asking for (if it is the two key commands you want reinstated) is impossible. If you want to suggest that those old keyboard commands be implemented as Alt-key, Ctrl-key combinations then a suggestion would be appropriate.
