Phil, We identified this issue yesterday and it has been forwarded to the developers and they are aware of it.
It seems to be an issue with Shared Events. Unless you need the Shared events exported now, just exclude them in the Gedcom export customizations and, even if you have none, the time will shrink to more or less what you experienced with L7.5/ thanks, john.
