Thanks for the advice. I did save a family file with it's name + v8 as .fdb and then opened it with version 8, so far seems okay, but I see PP red tags at a glance. One shows married after death, but the marriage date is 20 Dec 1922 and dod is 8 Feb 1973 I've looked at several and with the PP ! that aren't correct. Is there a way to just exclude on each situation as I'm at that person's screen, or to I have to make a PP report/log and take care of them there? I document e-mails with the current date, when I'm contacted about a family member, check it as "Private", for my personal use. On each of these I need only to exclude that particular PP!, not others that might be an error on my part. Thanks, Syble
