I haven’t used them yet, but there are tools for locating and relinking images and even consolidating to one location. Check the help files and previous messages from this maillist for further details, or perhaps someone else can repeat them.

I renamed the folder my v7 files were in to "Legacy Data v7 and earlier" (there are older files there that have never been converted to v7), and the new one "Legacy Data v8".
