I haven't tried it.  It might work.  Open help in v8.  Search for usr and
you will see a listing of all the .usr files Legacy uses.  These are the
files the settings are saved in.  Find the usr file you are looking for.

In Legacy 8 you can find the .usr files in [My Documents]\Legacy Family
Tree\_AppData\Usr

A lot of the .usr files have changed but some may still work if you want to
give it a try.
