I am experimenting with shared events and am confused.

The help file gives example usage in the event/fact field this is OK as these 
are single events.

However, I want to share a vital event, in this case a birth event.  I apply 
this in the individual screen by using the drop down + (address, notes, 
pictures and sharing for birth).

The application of the shared event (ie listing the people involved goes OK), 
however it is then applied to ALL the events for birth.  This cannot be right 
as some people are not at all these events.

As an example which everyone can see, I have tried this on the sample database, 
for ASA Clarke Brown and shared his mother and father to the birth event as 
above.  Now Nathan Brown has 5 shared events in the assigned sources screen.

Am I having a senior moment or is there a way to share these individually.
