The .fdb file is your database. The others with the same name but different extensions are used internally for other functions. If you lose them the data can be re-generated, but best to keep them. If you are moving your family file to another folder, keep all of them together.

The first one is obviously the file I've just closed but the others are FG files, NC files, TC files etc. Without listing them all, one is labelled Hatchell Master Dec2013~Rc3.Rc3.
