I was referring to the Descendent View. The right-click popup menu to
add/edit/etc addition info related to the individual you right-click on there.
This is discussed on pg 18 of the manual right after the mention of the
bottom-view information block that is now gone. The right-click function was
there in 7.5 and I see no reason why it would have been eliminated.

Right-clicking sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Is it dependent on which
view?

Looks to me like the bottom display was done away with intentionally as it was
redundant with what is and/or can be included in the main display. It appears
that the screen shot was updated in the manual, but not the text.

I’m also finding that the right-click popup menu is not functioning. Anyone
else having a problem with that?

Subject: [LegacyUG] Individual's details on Descendant screen

I understand from Page 18 of the User Guide that on the Descendants screen, "As
each name is highlighted, the birth and death information is shown at the
bottom of the window along with marriage details". This worked properly in
L7.5 but does not appear to work in L8.

The picture on in the manual shows a Descendant screen with an individual
highlighted, but there are no details for that person at the bottom of the
screen. There is an arrow labelled "Birth, marriage, and death information is
shown for the highlighted person" pointing vaguely to the middle of the Birth
Date column - obviously the wrong place.

Is this information function available or not, have I inadvertently set
something incorrectly, or do we have a bug? Does anyone else have this problem?

Boyd
