Hi Anne, Sorry I don't have an answer to this - I also changed the location for backup of both data and media and they have definitely stuck for me. I do not backup to external / removable drives - I wonder if that makes a difference. It sounds like it's not finding the default settings - did you move the location of these files? Others might be able to make suggestions.
