I too am disappointed that we have lost the scan a picture option.
Hopefully Legacy will have this fixed shortly. In the Legacy 8 program I noticed that when I wish to add a new photo to a person that has to be scanned, there is no button to press to link to my scanner. In Legacy 7 there was a "Scan a Picture" button that would allow me to connect to the scanner. Is there a new way to connect Legacy 8 to the scanner, that I have missed, if so, where? Is there a reason why the "Scan a Picture" feature was dropped in Legacy 8? I believe this is a step backwards and I would like to see this feature returned in a future update.
