I am experiencing the same problem with setting the colors of the tags in the Family View. After choosing the color(s) and clicking "save", the individuals' photos go blank and when they reappear, the tags revert back to white.
When I go to redo the process, as soon as I select "change colors", the tags are in the colors I want...hit save, individuals profile photo disappears ... the photos return ... and the tags go back to white. (And, yes, I have the latest build: 8.0.0.364).
