If you want to use the Media Gather tool and you have sub folders in your media folder, you will lose all your sub folders. It will gather all your files into one big folder. If you have files with the same name it will put numbers at the end of the title to distinguish them from one another. The Media Gather tool does a great job finding all your media files, but beware if you want sub folders.
