Step 10 says: To fix a possible DLL problem, please visit the Microsoft page at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2019235, then scroll down the page to 'Fix it for me' and click on the Fix It buttons (one is for Windows 8 and the other is for Windows 7, etc.). Next, click Run in the File Download dialog box, and follow the steps in this wizard. I'm running Windows 7 and it worked miracles for me. Dave Pointer ---------------------------------------------------------- What was the MS kb? Or under what heading in support page? ---------------------------------------------------------- Disregard, I fixed my problem. I was getting errors when doing three things – check/repair, installing the GeoDb and doing a search using FamilySearch. I did some reading in the support page and found a link to a Microsoft kb that had a fix for a bad or corrupt registry entry. I tried it and it fixed all three problems. Dave Pointer ---------------------------------------------------------- It didn’t fix my problem with the Geo Database. During its installation it stops with the message “error creating geo indexes”.
