Has anyone watched the training video 2, "Mastering Legacy: Names, Dates, Places"? In the section on dates, Geoff recommends NOT turning on the double dating preference. Instead he recommends using a slash between years. Below is quoted from the video:
"To enter a double-date, use this format: 2 Feb 1740/41 When a slash is used between years, Legacy interprets this to be a double date." I can't get it to work. Using the date in the video's example displays as 2 Feb 1741 with double dating turned off. It would be very useful if this actually worked. So, am I misunderstanding the video or is this a tease like the Source Writer Conversion Tool?
