Has anyone watched the training video 2, "Mastering Legacy: Names, Dates,
Places"? In the section on dates, Geoff recommends NOT turning on the double
dating preference. Instead he recommends using a slash between years. Below is
quoted from the video:

"To enter a double-date, use this format:
2 Feb 1740/41

When a slash is used between years, Legacy interprets this to be a double date."

I can't get it to work. Using the date in the video's example displays as 2 Feb
1741 with double dating turned off. It would be very useful if this actually
worked. So, am I misunderstanding the video or is this a tease like the Source
Writer Conversion Tool?

Thanks,

Terri Brown
