A person normally does not enter surnames as all capitals. They can be set to display that way if desired. If they are entered as all caps then a potential problem is shown, but it is my understanding, that any individual kind of pp can be disabled, though I haven't tried it myself. I think you right-click on the little red button that alerts you to the pp.
