Cliff,

Yes, it can be awesome. I personally have it turned on all of the time.

I advise trying it out a few times so that you can get it set up to your likely. I find it very helpful with my One Name Studies.

As for the merge, when you try it out, you will find it is a one person merge. When I have suspected that I needed to merge further, I have gone and done the merge an a "traditional" manual merge. I have not noticed that it has an undo features.

--> However, for me, just the fact that it alerts me to the fact of a possible match is a valuable, time saving feature.

I would expect that as the user community get more experience with this great new tool, suggestions will be sent it that will make it even more powerful.

john.

This is an awesome feature in V8 especially when one has a fairly large database. Â I can't seem to find any information on it in the help menu's. Â I am sure its there I just can't seem to find it. Â I have two questions about the feature, which maybe someone already knows the answers to.

 1.  Can you undo a merge using this feature, like you can with the manual merge?

2. Â Does this merge feature carry through to other direct family members as does the manual merge feature?

Thanks
