Both Legacy and Family Search have been testy today. Legacy 8 (with the latest update) suddenly decided it wouldn’t open my usual file, set up by name in options, and seemed to be looking in the old C: Legacy folder. It took a while to work out why it wouldn’t load, i.e. it seemed to be looking at the L.7 folder which of course wouldn’t load. Try again wouldn’t work, Quit did - of course, No and then find the file did.
Family search has given me a number of access violations today. No worries! However I got a Privileged Instruction window when I was trying to share data from L-R. If I clicked OK the process went through. The same happened again but then windows crashed. What does that mean? For Family Search: is there anyone listening to our (my) thoughts on useful changes?
