Not me, Wendy. You use it in very much the same way as I do. As one branch of my family were closely associated with transport on rivers and canals, I get lots of "water-based" addresses in Censuses and I enter them in much the same way as I do a "land-based" address. When I first began with Legacy, I put Event addresses in the Address field (including the Address fields behind the + for Births, Baptisms etc) but I really hated the way this appeared on Reports. I used only put the street address in the Address field to avoid too much duplication but you'd still get something like "X was born in Birkenhead, Cheshire, England (Nursing Home, Devonshire Place). I haven't experienced any problems with putting the full address in the Location field. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
