Hi Brian!

Do you lump or split your sources?
I split, and keep my Full source transcription in the Master Text, and only
portions of it in the Detail Texts.

Example:
Master text [I include the FULL transcription in the Master Text for each
person in the shared event]
Jack and Jill lived up on the hill. The old lady lived in a shoe. Jack lived in
a pumpkin.

Detail text
Jack and Jill lived up on the hill. [I would only include this part to prove
their address]

The old lady lived in a shoe [I would only include this part to prove her
address]

Jack lived in a pumpkin [I would only include this part to prove his address]

I split it this way, as complete transcriptions can be quite long, and this
makes it easier (for me) to look at the Detail Citation and see my "proof".

All four of the "people" above are part of the event, but my detail text only
focuses on their own part of the document.

I know I'm not the only one who does this (I've received a few emails from
other users), but our numbers are probably well in the minority. Still allowing
more flexibility might help others too.

Leo
