In comparing Legacy 8.0 to 7.5 I found that in Legacy 7.5 the Research Guidance would use estimated dates and places for events. It then used these estimated values for suggesting sources for the Goal tabs. In Legacy 8 the program no longer uses estimated dates or locations and, as a result, missing vital events (such as death entries) have no suggested sources.
I have submitted a problem report on this with both changes identified as Bugs. The Help for Research Guidance still says Legacy will estimate dates and places in the timeline.
