I would interpret that as you having 3 (not 2) shortcuts on the Desktop pointing to the Legacy program. Shortcuts are unimportant in the grand scheme of things. Right-click on one of them, and select 'Open file location'. This will open Windows Explorer to the folder in which the actual executable program lives: C:\Program Files\Legacy8. Now go back to the Desktop and delete every shortcut that points to Legacy. Finally, go back to the folder, locate the Legacy.exe file, right-click on it and select 'Create shortcut'. -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg (g) Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
