Interesting thought. Is TeamViewer like a VNC or a screen share app? (I
think another might be "go-to-my-pc" or something like that??)

Will it work through firewalls (hardware router and software)? So, for
instance, if I'm at a library with my tablet and have my desktop up and
running at home, can I get to it?

Of course a disadvantage of using your suggestion - it does mean leaving
my desktop up and running all the time. I like to power it down when
I'm not using it for 2 reasons:
1) security - if it is down, it is IMPOSSIBLE to hack/attack
2) lightening - Florida has some really nasty lightening storms. I
don't even trust my surge protectorS when we get a heavy storm.

And, if I am out of state and something hoses up on my desktop, I'd have
no way of rebooting it so I could get to Legacy. Where if I had it on
the tablet, no worries about what happens to the home PC.

But still worth thinking about.

Thanks,
Bob
