I thought I was reading you wrong when you said creating web pages had an
impact on what was displayed on the Legacy Family View. But it does. I was
able to reproduce it. Definitely a bug.

I was able to temporarily turn the FSID off using 8.2, but when I tried to
re-enable the RIN, the FSID came back on also. Had to first run Pedigree Web
Pages without FSID. Then could get 8.2 FSID off and RINs on.

Have you tried with any of the other Web Page Styles (Ancestor, Family,
Descendant, Individual) to see if the same thing happens?

Subject: [LegacyUG] Possible bug with FS Numbers/ID

In Legacy8 I use family view for display with RIN’s as an extra ID attached to
the name, (i.e. 8.2 on Customize has the text boxes checked, plus RIN’s
checked).

I also have the FS Number added after the Burial line as an option on my
display which makes it easier to relate to FS itself.

In Legacy, when I generate a pedigree webpage through the Internet tab, with FS
numbers selected to be included, I also get the FS numbers added to the name in
the family view on Legacy.

So for example instead of having a family view name display of Bryan Pratt [1]
(as checked in options), I get a display of Bryan Pratt [1] [XWYZ-123] plus I
still have the same FS ID underneath the burial line - well not quite for me
yet!.

The only way I can get rid of the excessive numbering is to regenerate my
internet pedigree page with FS ID (under What tab) unchecked.

However that numbering is too overwhelming both on my Legacy and on the
internet.

But on the internet pedigree view it also provides the FS number as a bullet
point immediately following life event details and in a much more presentable
place. That would be much more acceptable.

Any thoughts or should I refer this through as a bug?
