All I know is the media links from FTM to Legacy worked using FTM 2014 to export a GEDCOM so Diane might have to upgrade or try the instructions I gave in another post.
I noticed in my test that I had to choose FTM 16. It might work choosing one of the other FTM versions, but I didn't try. If exporting to just a GEDCOM only, the media links don't transfer over. Perhaps in FTM they can sync media from Ancestry but 2009 seems way before the time that feature was added. So there may be neither media or media links.
