There is a similar "problem" with the linked fields such as Forename and
Surname, Date and Place of Birth, Date and Place of Death etc.  Very
often one has one or more Sources which relate to only of the fields in
addition to one or more which relate to both.

I think I used to put "relates to Forename only" or "relates to Date of
Death only" in the Comments field of the Citation, but I don't bother
now.  If anyone gets to look at my Sources they can work it out for
themselves!

The case of Shared Events is slightly different in that Sources might be
attached to an Event where they have no relevance at all.  Another
reason why I think Shared Events are not entirely A Good Thing.
Certainly I see little advantage in them if one has to go into each
person's record and add Notes which are only specific to that person.

I shall probably use Shared Events, but sparingly.
