Try this: Select the FAMILY view tab right click on the background Select CHANGE COLOR SCHEME A new dialog box pops up. (If ya just glance at the buttons, it doesn't look like it will do what you want - but you can also change stuff manually when this window is up - see the top sentence) (I suggest you pick your basic color scheme first using the CHOOSE AN ALTERNATE COLOR SCHEME), and then proceed with the below With the SET COLOR SCHEME window still showing: Right click on one of the children A new box should pop up that includes MALE NAMES, FEMALE NAMES, UNKNOWN GENDER NAMES. Click the SET TEXT COLOR below each one of these. Click on the color you want for that item, then click SELECT THIS COLOR Do same for the other two sexes (three sexes? That sounds weird!!! Male, female, and unknown) Change any other colors you are interested in changing Click SAVE (for the "Set Child Colors" window) Click CLOSE (for the "Set Color Scheme" window) Click the INDEX tab - the colors on the FAMILY tab also appear to get applied to the INDEX tab (and to the NAME LIST).
