Make a backup just in case but I think the following should work for you:
View -> Master Lists -> Source Click on the source you want to get rid of Click on the “Combine…” button at the bottom of the screen Click on the new version that you are keeping Click again on the “Highlight…” button at the boom of the screen Accept the confirmation message Check the to make sure the new source is now used in place of the old. From: Charles Apple [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, January 21, 2014 12:31 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [LegacyUG] Merging Sources I have recently discovered that I incorrectly used the wrong Source Template in Source Writer and have several citations to that incorrect source. Therefore, I have created a new correct source in the Master Source list. Can the referenced incorrect Source in the Master Source list be merged with the correct source and maintain all of its references? Everything that I have read in the help files and the Legacy 8 manual refer to duplicates or sources that are exactly the same. These two both use Source Writer templates, however, they are different in that they use different source templates. I am using the most recent version of Legacy 8 Deluxe. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
